The Tower Knowe visitor centre is located towards the entrance of Kielder Water & Forest Park if you are coming in from the south ie Newcastle. Tower Knowe is the sister site to Kielder Waterside and is about a ten minute drive away from it. Here you can learn all about the history of Kielder with our interactive exhibition. Visit our cafe for refreshments that include yummy cakes and tasty snacks plus there is a fantastic view to take in whilst you are refuelling.
Take a look around our gift and homeware store where we have loads of gorgeous things for you to pick from plus you can buy your fishing permit here.
Please note Tower Knowe visitor centre is seasonal, open from April until the end of October.
